Invitation to Singapore

A documentation of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network's visit to Singapore

Invitation to Singapore is a publication documenting the UNESCO Creative Cities of Design Public Forum, and the experiences of its participating delegates. The publication outlines the insights gathered at the Forum across the fields of policy, education, business and communications. It presents reflections from the delegates, and their recommendations on the best things to see and do in their respective creative cities.

Presented through words, pictures and illustrations, the journal was created to be shared with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network: as a keepsake for attendees of the Forum, and to spark further thoughts and discussion amongst all members. The key visual created for the publication was adapted into National Day banners for the National Design Centre.

Collected information from the interviews and public forum were visualised in illustrations
The illustrations were adapted into large outdoor banners at the National Design Centre to celebrate Singapore’s 54th birthday
