HCmed is a medical technology company founded in 2014, specializing in mesh nebulizer devices and inhaled drug delivery platforms. With over a decade of expertise in aerosol science, HCmed provides customized drug-device combination solutions for pharmaceutical partners, covering the full development process from concept to commercialization.

The brand concept “The Breath of Life” communicates HCmed’s commitment to helping people breathe better through advanced drug delivery technologies. This concept also served as the foundation for the visual identity development.

The name “HCmed” reflects the company’s core values: “HC” comes from the Chinese characters for “heart” and “sincerity,” while “med” stands for medical care. Together, the name expresses the company’s belief in wholehearted dedication to respiratory health.

BLACK supported HCmed through a comprehensive brand refresh. This included brand positioning, restructuring the brand architecture, and redesigning the visual identity system. The updated logo improves legibility while retaining the meaning of the original name. Through refined typography, an updated color palette, and graphic system, the new identity presents HCmed as a clear and professional partner in global respiratory care.
