At the heart of the Singapore Together (SG Together) movement is the vision for Singaporeans to partner with the government, and with one another, to own, shape and act on our shared future together. Launched by Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat in June 2019, the movement aims to provide more partnership opportunities for Singapore residents to participate in, and support citizen-led initiatives. The movement encourages Singapore to harness our talents, support one another and build our collective social and psychological resilience.

BLACK was commissioned to refresh SG Together’s identity and tagline, and build the movement’s guidelines, when it saw an increased demand in support for initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. The refresh introduced to the identity the Raleway typeface, a compact lock-up for restricting applications, and four colour-ways.

Stronger Together – the tagline coined for the movement serves as a call to action for Singaporeans to come together and work alongside each other. It is a succinct interpretation of SG Together’s key message, making it easy to understand and recall. As a brand mark, the words ‘Stronger Together’ form a circle around the SG mark–a visual representation of people from all walks of life holding hands and reinforcing our bonds.
